Ganadhikar Parishad Blames Awami League and Jatiya Party Activists

Former Dhaka University VP and current Chairman of Ganadhikar Parishad, Nurul Haque Nur, has once again come under a violent attack. On Saturday evening, shortly after attending a political program in the capital, Nur was allegedly assaulted by activists of the ruling Awami League and Jatiya Party.

“A pre-planned conspiracy”

One Ganadhikar Parishad leader claimed:

“This was not an isolated incident. It was a pre-planned conspiracy aimed at politically sidelining Nur bhai.”

Hospitalized with serious injuries

The attack left Nur with severe injuries to his head and body. His fellow activists rushed him to a nearby private hospital where doctors confirmed heavy bleeding and required stitches to his head. He remains under close observation.
