Jucsu elections: Ballot counting underway

Vote Counting Begins in Jahangirnagar University Student Union Polls

Ballot counting has officially begun for the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (Jucsu) and hall union elections.

The process is being carried out manually, with results displayed live on five large LED screens across campus.

According to Jucsu Election Commission member Mafruhi Sattar, the first round of counting started at around 10:25pm with the ballots from Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall. He noted that the process could run through the night and may finish by tomorrow morning.

Voter turnout stood at about 67 percent, Sattar added.
