Mirza Fakhrul Returns Home After London Visit

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned to Bangladesh after his visit to London. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 12:45 PM on Thursday, as confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
Mirza Fakhrul had departed for London on November 30, accompanied by his wife, aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. During his visit, he reportedly attended various party-related events and met with BNP’s acting chairman, Tarique Rahman. The discussions between the two leaders focused on critical issues such as the country’s ongoing political situation, progress on interim government reforms, and the upcoming elections.
It has also been reported that following Mirza Fakhrul’s return, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will travel to the UK for medical treatment. After receiving initial care there, she may proceed to the United States for further treatment.
