Bangladesh’s GDP Growth Slows Down by 4.23%

In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, Bangladesh’s GDP growth has slowed down by 4.23% compared to the same period last year. According to the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), GDP growth stood at 1.81% for July-September, down from 6.04% in the previous year. The agricultural sector saw a growth of 0.16%, a slight decrease from 0.35% in the previous year, while the industrial sector grew by 2.13%, down from 8.22% last year. The service sector recorded a growth of 1.54%, a significant decline from 5.7% in the same period last year.
