On Tuesday, April 8, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw share price gains in 149 companies, accounting for 37% of total traded firms. Topping the list of gainers was Bangladesh Lamps PLC, whose share price rose by Tk 11.80 or 9.93% compared to the previous session.
Dhaka Electric Supply Company secured the second position among top gainers, with its stock increasing by Tk 2.20 or 8.87%. Heidelberg Materials Bangladesh PLC followed closely in third place, registering a gain of Tk 18.60 or 8.74%.
Other notable gainers on the DSE included First Bangladesh Fixed Income Fund (8.57%), AB Bank First Mutual Fund (8.51%), IFIC First Mutual Fund (8.10%), LR Global Mutual Fund One (8.10%), MB Pharma (7.49%), Sonali Paper (7.27%), and Navana Pharma (6.71%).
