Earth Tremor Felt Again in Dhaka and Several Other Regions

A mild earthquake was felt across Dhaka and various parts of the country. The magnitude was recorded at 3.6 on the Richter scale. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were received.

The tremor occurred at around 4:15 pm on Thursday (27 November).

According to preliminary information, the epicenter was located in Ghorashal of Narsingdi, with a depth of about 10 kilometers.

This incident follows a series of quakes that shook Dhaka and surrounding areas between 21 November and the following Saturday—four tremors within roughly 31 hours. The most notable one, felt on Friday morning, measured 5.7 in magnitude and originated from Madhabdi in Narsingdi. That stronger quake caused the deaths of 10 people in different districts.
