Fire Breaks Out at the Secretariat

A fire broke out at the Ministry of Public Administration building in the capital’s Secretariat. Firefighters later brought the situation under control with the help of three units.
According to the Fire Service, they received information about the blaze around 2:00 pm on Sunday (30 November). The incident was confirmed by Lima Khanom, the duty officer at the Fire Service control room.
She said that the fire erupted on the 10th floor of the new Secretariat building that houses the Ministry of Public Administration. Upon receiving the alert, three firefighting units rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames promptly.
