Moniruzzaman Appointed Chief Engineer of Roads and Highways Department

Md. Moniruzzaman has been appointed as the Chief Engineer of the Roads and Highways Department (RHD), replacing Syed Moinul Hasan.
The Road Transport and Highways Division issued a notification regarding the appointment on Wednesday (August 12).
Moniruzzaman is an officer of the 18th batch of the RHD and has been serving as Additional Chief Engineer of the Planning and Maintenance Wing.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification attaching Syed Moinul Hasan, who had been serving as Chief Engineer (current charge) of the Roads and Highways Department, to the ministry for his next posting.
The notification, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Jeti Pru, stated that the order, issued in the public interest, would take immediate effect.
