Top 5 Trades in Block Market

On Wednesday, December 11, the fourth working day of the week, the Block Market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw participation from 29 companies. Shares worth a total of BDT 74.19 million were traded during the session. Among these, five companies recorded the highest trading volumes, according to DSE sources.
The companies leading in transactions were Al-Arafah Islami Bank, Alif Industries, Lavello Ice Cream, MJL Bangladesh, and Beach Hatchery Limited. These five entities collectively accounted for more than BDT 47.9 million in trades.
Among them, Al-Arafah Islami Bank topped the list with shares worth BDT 21.3 million traded.
Alif Industries followed with a transaction volume of BDT 10.39 million, while Lavello Ice Cream secured the third position, recording trades worth BDT 7.05 million.
In addition, MJL Bangladesh and Beach Hatchery Limited saw trading volumes of BDT 5.07 million and BDT 4.15 million, respectively.
