The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has unveiled its squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The 15-member team will be led by Liton Das, with Saif Hasan named as vice-captain.

The tournament, set to be hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will not feature wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali or Najmul Hossain, despite Najmul’s strong batting form in the ongoing BPL. In total, six players from Bangladesh’s 2024 T20 World Cup squad have been omitted this time, while nine have retained their places.

According to the official announcement, the squad includes seven specialist batters, three spinners, and five fast bowlers.

Players continuing from the previous World Cup squad include Liton Das, Tanzid Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan, Shoriful Islam, Mehidy Hasan, Towhid Hridoy, and Mustafizur Rahman.

Those dropped from the last edition—Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Tanvir Islam, Jaker Ali, and Najmul Hossain—have been replaced by Parvez Hossain, Saifuddin, Saif Hasan, Shamim Hossain, Nurul Hasan, and Nasum Ahmed.
