Suchona Memorial Foundation Distributes Winter Clothing Among Orphaned Children

Suchona Memorial Foundation has distributed winter clothing and mosquito nets among orphaned children. The programme was held on Tuesday (the 6th January) at the historic Sir Salimullah Orphanage in Dhaka.
On behalf of the foundation, winter clothes and mosquito nets were handed over to the orphaned children by the President of the Dhaka Journalists’ Union and Editor of Daily Manobkantha, Md Shahidul Islam, along with the Chairman of Suchona Memorial Foundation, Al-Baru Mustakim Nibir.
Also present at the event were the Foundation’s General Secretary, Al baru Muktadir Abir; Executive Member, Rifat Mridha Niloy; Alif; and Mustakim Mohammad Nirbhik the son of late Suchona and journalist Mustakim Nibir.
The programme began with prayers and a special supplication. Later, Md Shahidul Islam delivered a guidance-oriented speech to the children, urging them to uphold moral values, develop humanitarian qualities, and remain focused on building a better future.
Guests at the event remarked that such humanitarian initiatives by Suchona Memorial Foundation set a commendable example of standing beside underprivileged and disadvantaged children in society.
