DSE sees slight gain after five-day slump

Stocks saw a slight uptick this morning after experiencing five consecutive days of losses. As of 11:36 AM, the DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, edged up by 1.77 points, or 0.03%, reaching 5,128.19. Investor sentiment remained mixed, with 166 stocks advancing, 114 declining, and 101 remaining unchanged. The total turnover amounted to Tk 114.71 crore. Among the top gainers, Delta Spinners and Tallu Spinning Mills each rose by 9%, while Intraco Refueling Station saw the steepest decline, dropping 9%. Meanwhile, the CSE All Share Price Index slipped by 4.07 points, or 0.02%, settling at 14,371.54.
