Donald Lu left Dhaka after a three-day visit

US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu left Dhaka after a three-day visit. He spent two consecutive days busy.

The plane carrying him left Shahjalal Airport at 4:15 am on Thursday. During this visit, he participated in several meetings and exchange meetings at different levels of the government and private sector.

He reached Dhaka on Tuesday and held a meeting with civil society, journalists and environmental activists. At night, Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser held a meeting at the residence of Salman F. Rahman. Dinner was arranged there.

He also held a meeting with the Foreign Secretary, Environment Minister and Foreign Minister on Wednesday. Donald Lu said in a joint briefing that the United States wants to improve relations with Bangladesh.
