New Weather Forecast on Thunderstorms and Temperature Changes

The Meteorological Department has reported that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently over the southern Bay of Bengal, with forecasts predicting rain with thunderstorms in one division. Meanwhile, the weather across the rest of the country is expected to remain mostly dry, with partly cloudy skies in some areas. Additionally, nighttime temperatures are likely to rise nationwide.
According to the forecast valid until 6 PM on Saturday, March 8, scattered rain or thunderstorms may occur in some parts of the Rangpur division, while other regions will experience mostly dry weather with temporary partial cloud cover.
On Friday, March 7, Rangamati recorded the highest temperature in the country at 34.5°C. The Meteorological Department stated that Saturday’s daytime temperatures are expected to remain almost unchanged, but nighttime temperatures may increase by 1 to 2°C. Furthermore, on Sunday, March 9, both daytime and nighttime temperatures may see a slight rise, with a similar trend continuing into Monday, March 10.
The extended five-day forecast indicates that towards the end of this period, the northeastern region of the country may experience rain or thunderstorms.
