Storms up to 60 km/h expected in these regions by 1 AM

The Meteorological Department has warned that storms with wind speeds of up to 60 km/h, accompanied by thunderstorms and rain, may occur in two regions of the country.
In a weather alert issued for inland river ports until 1 AM on Thursday, March 13, meteorologist Md. Omar Faruq stated that temporary gusty or squally winds from the west or northwest, ranging from 45 to 60 km/h, may sweep across Mymensingh and Sylhet regions, along with rain or thunderstorms. River ports in these areas have been advised to hoist cautionary signal number 1.
Additionally, another weather bulletin indicated that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently over the southern Bay of Bengal. Due to this condition, Sylhet division may experience rain or thunderstorms over the next two days, while the rest of the country is expected to have partly cloudy skies with dry weather.
