Tigresses Ready for U-19 Asia Cup: Full Squad Announced

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the inaugural Women’s Under-19 Asia Cup. The tournament will take place in Klang, Malaysia, from December 15 to 22, with all matches hosted at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval.

The six-team competition features host Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal (a qualifier), Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh has been placed in Group A alongside Malaysia and Sri Lanka, while Group B includes India, Pakistan, and Nepal.

The Bangladesh team is set to depart for Malaysia tomorrow morning. Their campaign will kick off on December 16 against Sri Lanka, followed by a match against host Malaysia the very next day.

Sumaiya Akter (Captain), Afia Ashima Ira (Vice-Captain), Mocha. Eva, Fahmida Choya, Habiba Islam Pinky, Zowaria Ferdous, Faria Akter, Farzana Yasmin, Anisa Akter Seba, Sumaiya Akter Suborna, Nishita Akter Nishi, Arvin Tani, Jannatul Mawa, Sadia Akter, Meherun Nesa.
