Chief Adviser Participates in Boao Forum in China

Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Interim Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, has joined the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 in China. On Thursday, he is scheduled to deliver a speech at the forum’s opening plenary session.

 

Other prominent speakers at the inaugural session include Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, China’s Executive Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, BFA Chairman Ban Ki-moon, and BFA Secretary-General Zhang Jun.

 

Dr. Yunus arrived in China on Wednesday for a four-day official visit. In addition to attending the Boao Forum, he is set to hold meetings with top executives of major global and Chinese corporations.

 

Tomorrow, March 28, he is scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing for their first bilateral discussion, focusing on issues of mutual interest. Dr. Yunus is expected to return to Bangladesh on March 29.
