New Relief Shipment from Bangladesh for Earthquake-Hit Myanmar

Bangladesh has sent a second batch of emergency medicines and relief supplies to Myanmar for those affected by the devastating earthquake.
On Tuesday, April 1, under the directive of Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, three transport aircraft from the Bangladesh Army (BA) and the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) delivered the aid.
The mission includes a rescue and medical team consisting of experts from all three forces, firefighters from the Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD), doctors from the Bangladesh Army, and civilian medical professionals.
A total of 55 rescue and medical personnel are part of the operation, along with 37 additional crew members aboard the three aircraft. The team is carrying essential supplies for their own safety and operations, including rations, hygiene kits, communication equipment, and cooking gear.
Additionally, the shipment includes eight tons of dry food, 2.5 tons of drinking water, four tons of medicines, one ton of hygiene products, and 1.5 tons of relief tents for the earthquake victims.
Earlier, on Sunday, March 30, the Bangladesh Armed Forces, led by the Army, had sent the first batch of emergency aid to Myanmar, which included medicines, tents, dry food, and a medical team.
