4 Firms Receive ‘Excellence’ Award at Investment Summit

Four leading organizations have been honored with the ‘Excellence in Investment Award’ for their outstanding contributions to the investment landscape of Bangladesh. The awards were presented by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus during the opening ceremony of the Bangladesh Investment Summit, held on Wednesday, April 9, at Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka.
Among the recipients, Fabric Lagbe was recognized in the Innovation category, Walton in the Sustainability category, bKash for Foreign Investment, and Square Pharmaceuticals Limited for Local Investment.
Additionally, a special honorary award was given to the Korean Export Processing Zone for its significant role in attracting investment. Korean investor Ki Hak Sung, CEO of Youngone and the founder of the Korean EPZ in Bangladesh, was awarded honorary citizenship for his exceptional contribution to the country’s business sector.
The Bangladesh Investment Summit began on April 7 and will continue through April 10 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dhaka.
