53 Bangladeshis died on Hajj, 27 thousand pilgrims returned to the country

This year, 53 Bangladeshis died while performing the holy Hajj. Among them 40 are male and 13 are female. They are being buried in the country according to Saudi Arabian law. And after performing Hajj, about 27 thousand pilgrims returned to the country.

 

This information was reported in the latest bulletin of Hajj portal on Thursday night. It is reported that 53 people died, 42 of them died in Makkah, 4 in Madinah, 6 in Mina and one in Jeddah.

It is said in the bulletin that 26 thousand 909 pilgrims have returned to the country after performing Hajj. They came to the country by a total of 61 flights from Saudi Arabia. Out of this, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated 17 flights, Saudi Airlines 24 and Flinus Airlines 20.

 

After the end of Hajj, the flights to return Hajids to the country started from last June 20. On that day, Bangladesh Biman’s first return flight with Haji 417 arrived at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Hajid’s return flight will continue till July 22.

 

A total of 85 thousand 225 people (including management members) went to Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh to perform Hajj this year. The Saudi government has allocated a quota of one lakh 27 thousand 198 people for Bangladesh next year.

 

 This year, the record number of deaths in Saudi Arabia has exceeded 1,300 during Hajj due to intense heat wave and unbearable heat. The Saudi authorities said that these pilgrims died due to intense heat wave. 53 of them are Bangladeshis. According to the Ministry of Religion, among the 53 people who died, 17 died before the start of the Hajj ceremony and the remaining 36 died after the start of the Hajj ceremony.হ্যাঁ
