Last Advance Train Tickets for Post-Eid Travel on Sale Today

Bangladesh Railway has begun selling advance tickets for intercity trains to accommodate passengers returning home after the Eid-ul-Adha holidays. On Thursday, June 5, tickets for trains departing on June 15 are available for purchase.
Tickets for both the Western and Eastern zones of Bangladesh Railway are being sold exclusively online from 8 AM each day. As part of this year’s initiative to ease the travel process, 100% of train seats are being offered through online platforms.
The ticket sales began on May 30 for June 9 journeys, followed by June 10 tickets on May 31, June 11 tickets on June 1, and so on. Tickets for June 12, 13, and 14 were sold on June 2, 3, and 4 respectively, while June 15 tickets are available today, June 5.
This advance sale covers seven days of return journeys after Eid under special arrangements. Notably, these tickets are non-refundable. Each buyer can purchase up to four tickets at a time, and names of all accompanying passengers must be provided during the purchase if buying more than one ticket.
