Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin has stated that all preparations for the upcoming election are well underway. On Sunday (June 15), during an Eid greetings exchange with officials at the Election Commission building in Agargaon, Dhaka, he emphasized that the remaining tasks must be completed with collective effort. The CEC pledged that the Election Commission is committed to conducting a fair, impartial, and transparent election, without serving the interests of any particular party. He stressed the importance of working with integrity, in line with the law. “Let those who wish to compete, compete; if they win, let them win. Our role is to act as referees,” he said, underscoring the Commission’s dedication to ensuring a level playing field for all participants.
