Programs to Celebrate JCD’s Legacy

The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) will celebrate its 46th founding anniversary on January 1, with a two-day program announced by the organization. According to a press release signed by office secretary Md. Jahangir Alam on Thursday, December 26, the celebrations will include a series of events.
On January 1, the program will begin with the hoisting of national and party flags at the central office in the morning, followed by paying homage to the grave of BNP founder and former President Ziaur Rahman at 11 AM. At 12 PM, a blood donation drive will be held at the party’s Naya Paltan central office, alongside badminton tournaments in Dhaka University halls and colorful rallies across the country.
On the second day, January 2, a football competition among eight central committee teams will take place at the Gulistan Outdoor Stadium in Dhaka. Additionally, all JCD units nationwide will organize cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, and chess tournaments.
JCD, established on January 1, 1979, by late President Ziaur Rahman, is founded on the principles of education, unity, and progress.
