Health Reform Report Submitted to Chief Adviser

The Health Reform Commission has officially submitted its report to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the interim government. This was confirmed on Monday, May 5, by the Chief Adviser’s press wing. The day before, Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder stated that the Health Reform Commission would present its findings to Dr. Yunus at 11 a.m. on Monday. Following the submission, a press conference was scheduled to be held at 11:45 a.m. at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road, with the presence of commission members. The Health Reform Commission, formed on November 17, 2024, is led by National Professor and President of the Bangladesh Diabetic Association, Dr. A.K. Azad Khan, and includes 12 members comprising renowned doctors, public health experts, former bureaucrats, and a student representative.
