DU Campus Resonates with Protest Funeral Prayer

A child receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka passed away at 1:00 PM on Thursday (March 13). The Bangladesh Army confirmed the death in an official announcement on its verified Facebook page.
In response to the incident, the anti-rape platform “Dhorshonbirodhi Moncho” has announced a symbolic funeral prayer (Ghaibana Janaza) to protest the crime and demand justice. The event will take place at 7:30 PM in front of the Anti-Terrorism Raju Sculpture at Dhaka University, followed by a coffin procession across the campus.
