Purana Dhaka Journalists’ Forum Distributes Eid Essentials to Over 100 Families

On Saturday, March 29, the Purana Dhaka Journalists’ Forum distributed Eid essentials to over fifty underprivileged families in the historic Nawab Bari Pukur Par area of Old Dhaka.
The event was attended by the forum’s President Zafru lAlam, Vice President Md. Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, General Secretary Mahmud Salehin, Joint Secretary Al Baru Mustakim Nibir, Organizing Secretary Nargis Akter Jui, Finance Secretary Suman Dutta, Welfare Secretary Syed Mahbubur Rahman Kutub, Publicity Secretary Shariful Islam Pavel, and other members.
The Eid essentials distributed included chicken, polao rice, semai (vermicelli), milk, sugar, potatoes, onions, and cooking oil.
President Zafru lAlam stated, “We have initiated this humanitarian effort with the personal contributions of our members. In the future, we plan to expand this initiative and distribute Eid essentials on a larger scale, InshaAllah.”
