Gas Supply Suspension in These Dhaka Areas on July 3

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has announced an 11-hour gas supply suspension in several areas of Dhaka and Narayanganj due to ongoing pipeline relocation work. In a notice issued on Wednesday, July 2, the company stated that the shutdown will take place on Thursday, July 3, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The temporary suspension is part of a pipeline relocation project under the DND Canal Excavation initiative, affecting nine canals within the Dhaka section. During this period, all types of gas consumers—residential, commercial, and industrial—will experience a complete shutdown in areas including Tengra, Bahir Tengra, Hajinagar, Amtola, Borobhanga, Kodaldoa, Sanarpar, Nimaikashari, Nama Shyampur, Zia Sarani, Japanese Bazar, Titas Gas Road, Chapra Mosque, Ruposhi Bangla Hospital, Shanir Akhra, RS Tower vicinity, Gobindapur, Matuail, Mridhabari, Kazla, Bhanga Bridge, Demra, Staff Quarters, Amulia, Paity, Zahid Steel, Shahriar Steel, Dharmik Para, and Council area.
Titas also cautioned that surrounding neighborhoods may face low gas pressure during the maintenance period. The company has apologized in advance for the inconvenience caused to customers.
