Army chief urges troops to stay prepared for tough challenges ahead

The 45th Annual Commanders’ Conference of the Army Ordnance Corps was held at the Ordnance Center and School (OC&S) in Rajendrapur Cantonment, Gazipur.

The conference, held on Sunday morning (16 November), was attended by the Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-uz-Zaman, as the chief guest.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon his arrival at OC&S, the Chief of Army Staff was welcomed by the GOC of the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC), GOCs, the Area Commander Logistics Area Commandant, BOF officials, and the Commandant of OC&S.

During his address to the attending commanders of the Army Ordnance Corps, the Chief of Army Staff highlighted the corps’ proud legacy and its dedicated service to the nation.

He urged the members of the Army Ordnance Corps to maintain commitment, focus, and professionalism, and to enhance their capabilities through modern and relevant training in order to remain prepared for the complex challenges of the 21st century.

In addition, during an exchange of views with the corps’ officers, he emphasized various aspects including technological advancement, research, skill development, and future planning within the Army Ordnance Corps.

The conference was attended by the GOC of ARTDOC, Area Commander Logistics Area, Commandant-BOF, AG, senior officers of Army Headquarters, Commandant of OC&S, all unit commanders of the Bangladesh Army’s Ordnance Corps, and members of the media.
