Election Commission Pledges Voter Protection

The Election Commission will do its best to ensure voter safety in the 13th National Parliament election, said Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin.
CEC AMM Nasir Uddin made the statement after a meeting with diplomats at the Westin Hotel in Gulshan on Sunday (January 25).
“The discussion was great. The diplomats are happy. They want a transparent election and are confident,” he said.
Nasir Uddin also assured that all necessary arrangements would be made to ensure voters can cast their votes peacefully.
He added, “The ambassadors welcomed the Election Commission’s overall preparation for the election.”
