Eid advance train ticket sales ongoing, today’s for March 27

As part of Bangladesh Railway’s advance ticket sales for Eid-ul-Fitr, tickets for March 27 are available from Monday (March 17). The sale, which began at 8 AM, is being conducted entirely online. To facilitate passengers, tickets for western zone trains are released at 8 AM, while those for eastern zone trains are available from 2 PM.

 

According to a previous announcement from the Ministry of Railways, tickets for March 28 will be available on March 18, tickets for March 29 on March 19, and tickets for March 30 on March 20. Additionally, tickets for March 31, April 1, and April 2 will be sold based on moon sighting.

 

For this Eid travel period, all tickets must be purchased online, with 35,315 advance tickets being sold daily from Dhaka. Unlike previous years when 8-10 special trains were introduced, this year, Bangladesh Railway has reduced the number to 5 pairs of special trains.
