National Citizens’ Committee Denies Rumors on ‘Jonoshokti’

The National Citizens’ Committee has clarified that there has been no discussion about forming a political party named “Jonoshokti” and urged everyone not to be misled by false information. In a statement issued on Saturday, December 21, spokesperson Samantha Sharmin emphasized that misleading reports in the media and social platforms linking the committee and the anti-discrimination student movement to the alleged political party are baseless. The statement affirmed that no such name has been considered or decided upon, and it called on all concerned to avoid confusion.
