Leaders of Insaanyat Biplob Bangladesh, a registered political party based on humanitarian politics, exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with the Chief Adviser upon a state invitation. They visited under the directive of the party’s chairman, Allama Imam Hayat.

On Monday (March 31), the party’s central Secretary-General, Sheikh Raihan Rahbar, met with the Chief Adviser at his office. Also present was the party’s central Finance Secretary, Mizanur Rahman Akhand. During the greeting exchange, they also met the Home Affairs Adviser and Religious Affairs Adviser and engaged in discussions with leaders of other major political parties while enjoying the event.

Secretary-General Sheikh Raihan Rahbar stated that if the party is allowed to hold meetings and rallies safely across the country until the next parliamentary elections and if a fair, impartial election is conducted, Insaanyat Biplob is preparing to field candidates in all 300 constituencies.

He emphasized the need for people to come forward in support of Insaanyat Biplob’s vision of a “state of humanity” through politics based on universal humanitarian values, free from sectarian dictatorship and extremist distortions of religion.

The party noted that although Insaanyat Biplob was registered in 2023, it did not participate in the national elections under the Awami government. The party filed a writ petition in the High Court demanding that elections be conducted under military supervision with participation from all parties, leading to a fine of one lakh taka imposed on the party chairman by the court. Insaanyat Biplob continues to engage in political activities aimed at addressing public interest issues and providing solutions to various crises.
