Tarique Rahman and Shafiqur Rahman to Address the Nation This Evening

Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman are scheduled to deliver separate addresses to the nation today, which will be broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV) on Monday, 9 February. According to the schedule, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s speech will air between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, followed by Tarique Rahman’s address from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In addition, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque is also expected to address the nation on the same day between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Previously, on Sunday, 8 February, BTV aired national addresses by NCP Convener Nahid Islam and the Ameer of Islami Andolon Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Charmonia Pir), with their speeches broadcast at 7:00 pm and 6:00 pm respectively.
