No conspiracy to revive Awami League will be tolerated – Nahid

Nahid Islam, the convener of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP), has warned that any attempt to rehabilitate the Awami League will be dealt with firmly. Speaking at an Iftar and prayer gathering in the capital on Saturday, March 22, he emphasized that all state institutions have been politicized and called for those responsible for such partisan control to be held accountable. Addressing the event at the Kara Convention Center in Bakshibazar, organized by the Lalbagh Thana NCP, Nahid stated that political voids in the past had led to military rule, which is undesirable. He further demanded that not only the Awami League but also its fascist collaborators be brought to justice.
