NCP is outlining a new political system: Nahid Islam

Nahid Islam, the convener of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has urged people to view the party not just as a new political entity but as the beginning of a new political framework in Bangladesh.
Speaking at an Iftar gathering hosted by the NCP on Monday (March 24) with diplomats from various countries, he emphasized the ongoing burden the Bangladeshi people bear due to the Rohingya crisis. He called on the international community to take effective steps toward a peaceful resolution of the issue.
Highlighting the role of the youth, particularly Generation Z, he stated that their unparalleled sacrifices played a crucial role in the success of the July uprising.
Meanwhile, Akhtar Hossain, the party’s member secretary, urged the interim government to ensure that no fascist force participates in the multi-party democratic system.
