Tamim Iqbal delivered another spectacular batting performance in the NCL T20 in Sylhet. The Bangladesh opener scored a blistering 91 runs off 54 balls. He was on track for a century but was dismissed for a bold by Mehedi Hasan after misjudging the ball.
Returning to domestic cricket after a long break from international cricket, Tamim has shown renewed vigor. While his start was slow for Chittagong in the NCL, he impressed in the previous match with a match-winning 65 runs off 33 balls. Today’s knock is a testament to his consistent form.
Tamim’s performance helped Chittagong post a substantial total. Batting first, they scored 182 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. The second-highest score came from Mahmudul Hasan Joy, who made 22 runs.
Mehedi Hasan was the standout bowler for Chittagong, taking 3 wickets for 25 runs. Moinul, Tanveer, and Rabby claimed one wicket each.
