Tree Plantation Program Inaugurated Under Government’s 5-Year Plan
A tree plantation program was inaugurated under the government’s initiative to plant 250 million trees over five years, organized by the Road Transport and Highways Division.
The chief guest at the event was Sheikh Robiul Alam, Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Shipping, and Ministry of Railways. Habibur Rashid, Honorable State Minister of the Road Transport and Highways Division and Ministry of Railways, attended as the special guest.
The event was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Haque, Secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Division.
Senior officials from the Roads and Highways Department, including the Chief Engineer, Additional Chief Engineers, and other staff members, were also present.
The Dhaka Road Division played a key role in successfully implementing the program.
