Prime Minister Tarique Rahman Has Arrived in Bogura

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited Bogura on Monday, arriving in his home district for his first official trip there after assuming office.
He left his Gulshan residence in Dhaka by road at around 6:10 a.m. and reached Bogura Circuit House at approximately 9:58 a.m. Upon arrival, he was received with flowers by the Bogura Deputy Commissioner, Toufikur Rahman. His wife, Zubaida Rahman, accompanied him on the visit. These details were confirmed by Deputy Press Secretary Sujan Mahmud.
After a short rest at the Circuit House, the Prime Minister is scheduled to begin a series of official engagements. At 11:00 a.m., he will inaugurate the newly constructed District Bar Association building at the District Judge Court premises. He will also formally launch the nationwide online bail bond submission system from the District and Sessions Judge’s conference room.
At 11:30 a.m., he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the “Bogura City Corporation” at the municipal building by unveiling the official foundation plaque.
Later, he will travel by road to his ancestral village in Bagbari, Gabtali upazila. Around 12:45 p.m., he is expected to visit the Ziaur Rahman Rural Hospital and launch a measles-rubella vaccination campaign.
At 1:30 p.m., he will inaugurate the distribution program of family cards at the Shahid Zia Degree College field in Bagbari. Around 1:45 p.m., he will also launch a canal excavation project of the Chaukirdah Khal flowing near the village. By 2:30 p.m., he is expected to visit his ancestral home, Zia Bari, before returning to Bogura by road.
In the afternoon at 4:00 p.m., he will attend a public rally organized by the district BNP at the historic Altafunnesa Playground in Bogura city as the chief guest.
At 5:45 p.m., he will inaugurate the newly built Bogura Press Club and also initiate the reconstruction work of Baitur Rahman Central Mosque. He is scheduled to depart for Dhaka by road at around 6:00 p.m., making a brief stop at the Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogura on his return journey.
