As Dhaka Capitals and Sylhet Strikers are desperately striving for a win, Rangpur remains undefeated, having won five consecutive matches in this year’s BPL. Their latest victory came against Dhaka, where they defeated their opponents by 7 wickets, continuing their dominant streak as the champions of the Global Super League.

Rangpur’s bowlers played a crucial role in the win, dismissing Dhaka for just 111 runs. Despite a modest start from Azizul Hakim Tamim, who had a duck in his first two matches, Alex Hales stepped up, scoring 44 runs from 16 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. Though Hales fell short of a half-century, his performance laid the foundation for the victory.

Saif Hasan was dismissed for 13 runs, but Pakistan’s Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed took charge, leading the team to victory with 40 balls to spare. Khushdil scored 27 runs, while Iftikhar remained unbeaten on 9. This win marks another loss for Shakib Khan’s team against Rangpur, who have now defeated them in both encounters.
