Due to the low pressure in the sea under the influence of monsoon, the Directorate of Meteorology has given a temporary glimpse of stormy winds with rain and thundershowers in most areas of the country including Dhaka. Besides, local warning signal number 3 has been given at Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra ports.

This information is known in the forecast of the Department of Meteorology on Sunday (June 30). The forecast said that the rain that started from Sunday may continue for two more days.

The forecast also says that light to moderate rain and thunder with gusty winds may occur in most places of Dhaka, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions today and tomorrow. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country.

Besides, it is also known that the day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country for the next two days.
