Surgery on Adviser Farooki’s appendix completed successfully

Cultural adviser and filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki has successfully undergone appendix surgery and is currently under observation in the post-operative care unit, confirmed his wife, actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha.
According to Tisha, the two-hour procedure, conducted on Sunday afternoon, was deemed successful by the medical team. She shared the update on Facebook and requested prayers for his speedy recovery.
Earlier, on Saturday evening, Sarwar Farooki fell ill during an official event in Cox’s Bazar. As his condition deteriorated, he was airlifted to Dhaka by helicopter and admitted to United Hospital.
