Tarique Rahman Sends Message of Sympathy to Firefighter Noyon’s Family

Firefighter Sohanur Zaman Noyon, who tragically lost his life after being hit by a truck while battling a fire at Dhaka’s Secretariat, was honored by a delegation from “We Are BNP Family.” On Saturday morning, the team, led by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, visited Noyon’s grieving family in Atpania village, Mithapukur, Rangpur, on behalf of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

 

During the visit, they conveyed condolences and support to Noyon’s parents. Present were BNP Rangpur Divisional Organizational Secretary Asadul Habib Dulu, “We Are BNP Family” Convener Atikur Rahman Ruman, and other local BNP leaders. The delegation also paid their respects at Noyon’s grave, where his father expressed gratitude to Tarique Rahman for the gesture.

 

Noyon had rushed from Tejgaon to the Secretariat after a fire broke out at Building No. 7 early Thursday morning. While connecting a water hose across the road, a speeding truck struck him. Despite being rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
