Martyr Abu Sayeed Honored by Chief Adviser

Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed his deep connection to Rangpur, saying, “I consider myself a son of Rangpur because I have been profoundly inspired by the courage and sacrifice of Shaheed Abu Sayeed during the July-August revolution. Please see me as an adviser dedicated to Rangpur.”

 

Dr. Yunus made these remarks on Thursday while welcoming family members of Abu Sayeed at the Chief Adviser’s Office in Tejgaon.

 

During the event, the Chief Adviser presented the certificate of the Shaheed Abu Sayeed Foundation to Sayeed’s family. Abu Sayeed’s father, Mokbul Hossain, accepted the certificate, while Sayeed’s nephew, Md. Liton Mia, was also in attendance.

 

The Chief Adviser inquired about the health of Abu Sayeed’s parents and assured the family of the government’s full support.
