Reform Commission Recommendations Handed Over to Dr. Muhammad Yunus

The reports from the Judicial Reform Commission and the Public Administration Reform Commission were submitted to Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday at 1 PM. The handover took place at the state guesthouse Jamuna, where former Justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman, head of the Judicial Reform Commission, and Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, presented the reports.
While the exact details of the reports remain undisclosed, it was previously indicated that the Public Administration Reform Commission might include over a hundred recommendations.
Following the formation of the government on August 8, six commissions were established to address reforms in various sectors of the state. Earlier, on January 15, commissions on the Election Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, Police, and Constitutional Reforms had already submitted their reports to the Chief Adviser.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat the previous day, Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury mentioned that although the report was initially due last month, the delay was due to extensive fieldwork. The commission visited multiple districts and sub-districts, engaged with local communities, and collected feedback online. The final report contains more than 100 recommendations, though he declined to provide further details.
