Chief Adviser Heads to Bangkok for BIMSTEC Summit

Interim government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus is set to visit Bangkok on Thursday, April 3, to attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Thailand.
Accompanying him on this trip will be Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Md. Jashim Uddin. This marks their first official foreign visit as part of the Chief Adviser’s delegation.
The 6th BIMSTEC Summit will be held in Bangkok from April 2 to April 4. According to local diplomats, the Chief Adviser is scheduled to participate in the summit on April 3 and 4, with preparations for the visit currently underway.
