In the elections of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), Abu Saleh Akon, Chief Reporter of Daily Naya Diganta, has been elected as President. Mainul Hasan Shohel, Senior Reporter of Daily Inqilab, has secured the position of General Secretary, while Abdul Hai Tuhin, Senior Reporter of Daily Sangbad Pratidin, has been elected as Organizational Secretary.
