The schedule for the 13th National Parliament election and the referendum will be announced tomorrow, Thursday, at 6:00 PM. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin will address the nation while revealing the schedule.
This information was shared with journalists on Wednesday evening by Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.
Earlier in the afternoon, the EC Secretary stated that the CEC’s speech had been recorded at 4:00 PM today.
This time, the parliamentary election and the referendum will be held on the same day, with the schedules for both announced simultaneously.
Earlier today, the Chief Election Commissioner, along with the Election Commission, met the President at Bangabhaban. The EC Secretary said that the President was briefed on preparations for the national election and referendum and expressed satisfaction.
