The film “Emilia Perez” emerged as a major winner, securing multiple awards, including Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category. The movie received a total of four awards across various categories, including Best Actress (Musical or Comedy), while “The Brutalist” won Best Drama Film, and Adrien Brody was awarded Best Actor in a Drama. Other notable winners included Fernanda Torres (Best Actress in a Drama), Sebastian Stan (Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy), and Kieran Culkin (Best Supporting Actor). Viola Davis received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement, while “Hacks” won Best TV Series in the Musical or Comedy category. The event also recognized outstanding performances in television, with Jeremy Allen White and Jean Smart receiving accolades for their roles in “Hacks,” and Colin Farrell and Jodie Foster being honored for their performances in limited series.
