President Donald Trump Extends Independence Day Greetings to Bangladesh and Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus

In a message released on Thursday (March 27) morning through the Chief Adviser’s official Facebook page, U.S. President Donald Trump extended his greetings to the people of Bangladesh and Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on the occasion of Bangladesh’s Independence Day.
On behalf of the American people, Trump stated, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to Bangladesh and its people on their Independence Day. This moment of change presents an opportunity for Bangladeshis to strengthen democracy, advance economic progress, and enhance security.”
Further emphasizing his commitment to bilateral relations, Trump added, “The United States remains eager to continue its partnership in the coming year. I am optimistic that together we can advance our economic cooperation, fortify our relations, and contribute to regional security in the Indo-Pacific.”
Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of State also conveyed his best wishes to Bangladesh on its Independence Day. In a statement on Tuesday (March 25), he congratulated the people of Bangladesh and reaffirmed the commitment to working together to ensure a safer, stronger, and more prosperous future for both nations.
Highlighting the significance of this year’s Independence Day celebrations, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio noted that Bangladesh stands at a crucial juncture in its history as the interim government prepares for upcoming elections. He reiterated that the United States remains committed to supporting Bangladesh in its journey toward a prosperous and democratic future.
