Dr. Yunus back home today after Davos visit

Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor, is set to return to the country today following a four-day visit to Davos, Switzerland, where he attended the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual conference. His delegation departed Zurich International Airport last night at 9:50 PM local time aboard an Emirates Airlines flight.
According to his Press Secretary, Shafiqul Alam, the flight is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5:00 PM today. Dr. Yunus had arrived in Davos on January 21 and spent the past four days actively engaging with global leaders during the WEF summit.
During the conference, Dr. Yunus participated in 47 events, including meetings with four heads of state or government, discussions with four ministerial representatives, interactions with 10 senior UN officials, engagements with CEOs of 10 leading global businesses, as well as attending nine WEF-hosted programs, eight media engagements, and two additional events.
